I'm Trace, a New Orleans-based bridal makeup artist with over a decade behind the chair and a roster that includes Black Bride, Essence, Munaluchi Bride, New Orleans Weddings Magazine, on the cover of Southern Bride Magazine, and Vogue Australia.
I take on a limited number of brides each season so every client receives my full presence and artistry. I engineer looks specifically for New Orleans conditions. And where I see the need during bridal prep, I jump in! I've coordinated timing with photographers so you get all "the shots" without running late, I've lifted gowns for the restroom, hemmed torn seams, sewn missing buttons, bustled trains, taped up boobs, assisted with hair and concealed lacefronts and fixed edges, lotioned legs and feet, placed on shoes, placed veils, wiped tears, steamed bridesmaids dresses when they were running late, and even color-corrected grooms on the day of because they had a just a little bit too much fun the night before, and so much more.
